"Fun"g Shui Assemblage Jewelry
In this creative and quirky class students design and create a piece of jewelry while working through design and technique challenges as they learn to harmonize found objects through color, shape and spacing. Students will work with inspiring repurposed treasures developing a fashion worthy statement piece. Students will assign a spiritual meaning to the piece that integrates past, present and future as it relates to the repurpose materials. This class is designed to take you out of your comfort zone by challenging the traditional characterization of jewelry making materials and encouraging experimentation while developing an eclectic edginess to personal style.
