Shuman Juvenile Detention Center has been invited to exhibit student artwork in the lobby of City Theatre to run in conjunction with a play titled PIPELINE by Dominique Morisseau. The student exhibition is titled “Faces of the Pipeline and was on Exhibit with the play from October 27 – November 18, 2018. This beautifully written and executed play addresses the issues of the “school to prison pipeline” and the challenges youth and families face when youth are pushed out of schools because of increasingly harsh school and municipal policies and introduced to the criminal justice system.

We are so excited to exhibit and be part of this very important social justice mission.
